Whakatāne Embroiderers Guild
We, the ladies of the Whakatāne Embroiderers Guild, welcome anyone who wishes to further their embroidery skills by learning new techniques and revising traditional methods. Our members have many interests, including but not limited to: cross stitch, hardanger, pulled thread, beading, canvas work, and creative stitching.
The guild began in the early 1980's and although we have reduced in numbers, we still produce many works. We meet at the Art House twice every week. We also have a small group of ladies who meet at a private home on the 3rd Friday of every month to embroider 'traditional' embroidery. |
Meeting Times: Tuesday, 7-9pm Wednesday, 9:30-11:30am |
Club Fees: WSAC membership + $15 club fee |
